BBC Four “My Friend Sam”
Completed a truly unique journey: two years of post production (from ingest to colour grading) for the documentary “My Friend Sam” for BBC Four Storyville’s Survivors series. Directed by Toby Reisz of Feasible Films.
As part of Storyville’s Survivors season, My Friend Sam: Living For the Moment is about an extraordinary man named Sam Frears. Sam, now 39 years old, was born with an extremely rare genetic disorder – Familial Dysautonomia – which left him with only a 50% chance of making it to his fifth birthday.
The film reveals a complex, engaging, exceptional person as he struggles with everyday life while pursuing his joint goals of getting his acting career back on track and finding love.

BBC TWO “La Mappa Misteriosa” e-learning interactive TV drama
Completed post production on the interactive drama “La Mappa Misteriosa” : a 12 episodes treasure hunt, set in the beautiful italian settings of Emilia Romagna, directed by Riccardo Sai for BBC TWO. The series combines an e-learning experience with interactive drama by presenting the viewer with an always present “point of view” similar to that of video-games. It was edited by Pixelkitchen’s Editor Marco Ruffatti. Our in-house animator James Barber designed the animated stings and various motion graphics for the series.

A viral for Magnum Photos on their Cuba and Fidel Castro retrospective, featuring work by some of Magnum’s most respected photographers.

Music video for upcoming band The Legendary Hearts. Shot entirely tapeless with multiple cameras, we used a Apple Pro Res workflow achieveing great flexibility in the post production process. Grade was done on our Color Suite.
